WINNERS ANNOUNCEMENT: “Storytellers” Summer Poetry Contest 2023

The Way Back to Ourselves is excited to announce the WINNER and RUNNERS-UP for our FIRST-EVER “Storytellers” Summer Poetry Contest!

We were simply overwhelmed by the outpouring of poets and storytellers for our first-ever poetry contest. We are so grateful to EACH of you who submitted and who make The Way Back to Ourselves what it is!

Over the past month, our editors carefully and lovingly read over your poetry and had meaningful conversations about what made a poem sing, what stories resonated most deeply, and which verses we simply couldn’t stop thinking about. It was a very difficult task to decide which poets would be recognized, but we are happy to say we were able to make decisions we are proud to share.
