PLANT / YIELD / GLEAN (TANKA TRIPTYCH)
Plant
I used to believe
faith should move a Sycamore—
tiny seed planted.
Until I knelt uprooted,
beneath it—sheltering me.
Yield
I used to believe
yielding meant to give up my
plans—be used by God.
Could it be—more offering—
letting him love me, fully.
Glean
I used to believe
gleaning came at the corners—
leftovers, crumbs dropped.
Then Jesus gave the whole field
to hungry, thirsty strangers.
