RESTORE ME BACK TO ONE

God, bring me back

to that

breaking point.

Open me up,

as the surgeon does—

a procedure on my heart.

Cleanse my sins

that clog my soul,

my arteries,

my veins,

my vanity.

Strengthen me and

fulfill me with Your love.

Raise me up

to live again—

just like you did

with your Son.

Undo what’s been

aching in me.

Forgive me

for what I’ve done.

Restart my heart,

so that it beats

in rhythm

with your Truth.

Sow me back together.

Restore me back to one—

with You.
